The lake festival at the beautiful Burgsee in Bad Salzungen is one of the annual highlights in the region. Almost 10,000 visitors are welcomed on 3 stages on the second weekend in August of the year. The fireworks over the lake are one of the highlights of the festival.

Due to the corona pandemic, the festival will not continue until 2023.
